Joyful Joyous

three colours red.

This Autumn you can have your fortune told..

at some of London’s most pleasurable events. Wether you are into food, music or simply indulgence the Joyful Joyous team will be at an event that’ll fulfil your desires..

On October 15th Mme de la C and Leo will once again be offering readings at the divine Coqutte at Kettners. Then on October 30th Shy Charlie will be offering tarot readings (and even playing the harp) at the gloriously folky Wheel Wheel Wheel Halloween Music Fair. And then on November 4th and November 5th all three of us will be eating and reading at Ms Marmite Lover’s gorgeous Bonfire Food Fair.

and then straight after Dr Clive’s Circus Leo will join us as we hot foot it to the Rio to be At Home With The Ludskis. The desperately inventive and exceptionally beguiling Liv Fontaine will be helping us turn the basement into a place of joy, wonder and delight. Not to be missed. xxx

Dr Clive’s circus is a new circus troupe made up of some deeply talented and exceptionally entertaining performers. Dr Clive’s last circus at the Arcola Tent was a complete sell out and their next event promises to be just as popular. Madame de la C will be offering fortune telling to audience and performers alike - we look forward to seeing you there xxx

I was honoured and delighted to be a guest performer in Marisa Carnesky’s Tarot Village at Bestival this summer. The Tarot Village was a thrilling experience - according to some lovely people who mobbed me while I was wandering around it “made our festival”. The tarot cards come alive about halfway through this video. Enjoy xxx

Shed Love Tarot

Here is the divine shed Leo and I read in at the Magdalene May Ball earlier this summer. Later today (23.07.2011) I’ll be reading in another beautiful garden space at the Urban Physic Garden, 100 Union St, SE1. I’ll be at the UPG from 3pm - 5pm. Hope to see you there, xxx Mme de la C

Tarot Reading at the Urban Physic Garden

I’m ever so happy to have been invited to read tarot at the Urban Physic Garden in July and August this summer.

Following on from the Urban Orchard, the team is returning to make a neglected piece of land blossom. Much in the same way tarot can sometimes help us focus on bringing neglected parts of our life into bloom.

As well as enjoying the garden itself there will be a range of diverse and interesting events to take part in.

I’ll be offering ”drop in” readings each night, but if you’d like to book a longer, more in depth reading at the garden please email me at mdelacartomancer@gmail.com

About Joyful Joyous

Madame de la Cartomancer is a tarot reader who delights in offering life affirming readings at a wide range of joyful, joyous events.

Mme de la C read tarot for friends for a number of years before starting to read for the public. Mme de la C’s first outing was Seductive Alchemy’s 2007 New Year’s Eve party. There amongst the zeppelins and various other steam punk glories she discovered she had a gift for reading for strangers.

Mme de la C has gone on to read at Punchdrunk’s “Red Death Lates”, Ms Marmite Lover’s Underground Food Market, House of Fairytales, Wheel Wheel Wheel, the Luxury Goods art festivals and Jacques Townhouse.

This summer Mme de la C will be reading at David Carter’s fabulous “Coquette” at Kettners, Magdalene College’s May Ball and the Urban Physic Garden.

Should you be running a joyful, joyous event and feel your guests would enjoy profound yet playful tarot readings, Mme de la C would love to hear from you at mdelacartomancer@gmail.com
